ADDIS ABABA, Dec 10 (SPA) -- Ethiopia will pull troops away from its tense border with former foe Eritrea in compliance with a U.N. instruction aimed at averting renewed war, its foreign minister said in remarks published on Saturday. "Ethiopia is prepared to redeploy its forces consistent with the instruction of the Security Council," state-owned newspapers quoted Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin as saying. "Should there be any attempt by Eritrea, to take advantage of Ethiopia's unilateral compliance to cause harm to our country, the Security Council will shoulder its responsibility by taking necessary measures," he added. --SPA 1517 Local Time 1217 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/309484
