Clark said last week that her country had no plans to deploy more troops there, although her foreign minister has said New Zealand was open to offers. She wasmeeting with Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer todiscuss the issue. Later Monday, Clark was to meet with European Unionlawmakers at the European Parliament to discuss world tradetalks.
