Islamabad, May 27, SPA -- An explosion in a Muslim shrine in Pakistan's capital has killed at least 10 people and wounded many others, according to the country's information minister and hospital sources. An official at an Islamabad hospital said at least 40 wounded had been received for treatment. Several hundred people were inside the 'Bare-Iman' shrine when the blast happened, police said. Police officer Mohammed Sadique said the blast happened inside the shrine and that it occurred on the last day of a five-day festival, The Associated Press reported. Mukhtar Kazmi, who was running a free clinic at the shrine, said it had treated about 200 people, according to AP.
