Seoul, May 16, SPA -- Senior officials from North and South Korea have begun high-level talks at Kaesong, just north of the border. It is the first such meeting since North Korea suspended regular dialogue ten months ago. The North is expected to renew its request for food aid and hundreds of thousands of tonnes of fertilizer, BBC reported. South Korea says it will press the North over its development of nuclear weapons. South Korean officials say they are encouraged by the North's agreement to resume dialogue.--SPA1414 Local Time 1114 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/262743
