Moscow, April 22, SPA -- Pyongyang and Seoul will jointly resist Tokyo's claim on the disputed island of Tokto (Takeshima), North Korean Ambassador to Russia Pak Ui Chun said in Moscow Friday. "North and South Korea will combine efforts to oppose reckless falsifications of history and territorial claims on the Korean island," the Interfax news agency quoted Pak as saying. Tokto, referred to by Tokyo as Takeshima, is an island under South Korean jurisdiction located in the Sea of Japan.
