Islamabad, Sept 25, SPA -- Pakistan expressed satisfactionSaturday with talks between President Gen. Pervez Musharrafand India's new leader, and said their meeting in New Yorkhad revived hopes for a solution to the dispute overKashmir. The two leaders "rekindled the hope for a negotiatedsettlement of the Kashmir dispute and thus given a freshlifeline to the whole dialogue process," Pakistan ForeignMinistry spokesman Masood Khan said. On the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly on Friday,Musharraf met with India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singhfor the first time since Singh took power in May. The leaders vowed to work together to "restore normalcyand cooperation" between their countries and seek asolution to all outstanding bilateral issues, includingKashmir.
