London, March 1, SPA -- U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Ricesays the new Palestinian government must get tougher onterrorists like those responsible for a bombing thatrattled the resurgent Mideast peace process. But she is praising both Israelis and Palestinians forshowing restraint. She also says other countries must helpthe Palestinians' new president, Mahmoud Abbas, bycontributing money and political support. The secretary was attending a British-led conference onPalestinian reform, where she planned to meet with Abbas onTuesday.
