Miran Shah, March 13, SPA -- Helicopter gunships backedarmy troops on the ground in an offensive against militantsSunday in a Pakistani tribal region that left two soldiersinjured, officials said. The search operation was launched in Mana, a village about150 kilometers (95 miles) west of Miran Shah, the main townin the North Waziristan tribal area, an intelligence official in Miran Shah said on condition of anonymity. The soldiers were injured when a grenade one of them washandling exploded during the operation.
