Moscow, Feb 18, SPA -- Russia's lower house of parliament on Fridayratified security accords with two ex-Soviet republics inCentral Asia aimed at deepening cooperation between theirmilitaries. The State Duma unanimously approved the agreement withKyrgyzstan, which allows both militaries to use eachother's military and civilian facilities. Russian lawmakers also approved a five-year militaryaccord signed with Kazakhstan last year that will allow forjoint military planning "in the use of troops at times ofpeace and war."
