Baghdad, Aug 14, SPA -- Early morning bombing by U.S.warplanes on the largely Sunni city of Samarrah killed atleast eight people, Iraqi hospital officials said Saturday. The U.S. military said a series of 230 kilogram (500pound) bombs were dropped on "known enemy locations" nearthe city, about 95 kilometers (60 miles) north of Baghdad,in an operation called Cajun Mousetrap III, which beganjust after midnight Friday.
