Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Sept 16, SPA -- Uzbekistan will holdparliamentary elections Dec. 26 and campaigning will beginnext week, the country's election commission said in adecree published Thursday in state-run newspapers. The election will be for the 120 seats in the legislativechamber of Parliament, the Oliy Majlis. Regional publicauthorities will be elected the same day.
