Saudi Ambassador Expresses Grief and Sorrow over the Death of Sheikh Zayed

Abu Dhabi, Nov 3, SPA -- Saudi ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Muammar has depressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, the President of the UAE, who passed away on Tuesday. In a statement to the Saudi and UAE media, Bin Muammar said the death of Sheikh Zayed is a great loss not only to the Arab and Muslim world but also to the entire world. 'Sheikh Zayed was a historical leader and an inspired ruler who had dedicated his efforts for the development of his country', he said. Bin Muammar highlighted Sheikh Zayed's unwavering support to the Arab and Muslim causes as well as his significant role in the establishment of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
