Berlin, Nov 2, SPA -- Queen Elizabeth II on Wednesday starts athree-day state visit to Germany, a trip on which she isexpected to underline the two countries' post-World War IIreconciliation and lend her support to efforts to combatclimate change. The queen, accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip, wasto be greeted with military honors after her arrival byPresident Horst Koehler, who will speak at an eveningbanquet in her honor. She also plans to meet Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and agroup of young German and British researchers on theeffects of climate change.
