Berlin, Rabi'II 16, 1434, Feb 26, 2013, SPA - US Secretary of State John Kerry launches the second day of his 11-day 9-nation tour through Europe and the Middle East in Berlin on Tuesday with a round of talks that are likely to focus on the conflict in Syria and Iran's nuclear programme. In addition to talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, Kerry is due to meet for the first time with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, according to a report of DPA. Kerry is to begin his day in Berlin meeting young Germans to hear their views of US-European relations. In addition to French-led efforts to roll back militants in Mali, Kerry's talks with German officials are also expected to focus on plans for a free trade agreement between the US and Europe. After visiting London on Monday, Kerry is to set to travel to Paris following his talks in Berlin before heading to Rome.
