PRAGUE, Czech Republic, Sept 2, SPA -- Unknown assailants fired shots at the car of the Czech ambassador in Baghdad, anofficial said Thursday. No injuries were reported. Vit Kolar, a spokesman for the Czech Foreign Ministry,said the vehicle was attacked on Wednesday morning. He saidtwo Czech police officers were traveling in the car at thetime. The Czech ambassador to Iraq, Martin Klepetko, was inPrague attending an annual gathering of Czech diplomats. Kolar refused to provide further details, but the Pravonewspaper said that at least 30 shots were fired at thearmored Toyota Land Cruiser near the ambassador'sresidence.
