Islamabad, Oct 31, SPA -- The outgoing US Ambassador to Islamabad Ms Nancy Powell says Pak-US relations are not temporary, as there exists a strong desire on both sides to further strengthen these ties. "Close cooperation between Pakistan and the United States would continue. Their relations would further strengthen in future, irrespective of the possible changes in the US administration", Ms Powell said. She said the two sides require closer understanding and continuation of cooperation to combat the global threat of terrorism.
