Seoul, Oct 17, SPA -- South Korean troops will stay on in Iraq for an extra year, to the end of 2005, to give them time to carry out their duty, Yonhap news agency reported on Sunday. About 2,800 South Korean soldiers have been sent to Iraq's Kurdish region and began their mission early this month, with 800 more expected to arrive in November on a tour focused on aid and reconstruction.
