Islamabad, Sept 8, SPA -- Nigerian Chief of Defense Staff General Alexander Ordareduo Ogomoudia has met Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf, according to an official statement. The president recalled the extremely close and fraternal relations between Nigeria and Pakistan, particularly between the armies of the two countries. General Musharraf stressed the need for further strengthening of these ties and wished Ogomoudia a professionally rewarding and comfortable stay in the country. Ogomoudia thanked the Armed Forces of Pakistan for extending exemplary hospitality to him and members of his delegation. He expressed his commitment for further strengthening the already existing close relations between the Armed Forces of Nigeria and Pakistan. Ogomudia also visited Naval Headquarters and the General Headquarters in Islamabad and called on Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Shahid Kareemullah and Vice Chief of Army Staff General Mohammad Yusuf Khan.
