BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro, Sept 7, SPA -- Serbian President Boris Tadic has been hospitalized due to a lung infection, his office said Tuesday. An announcement from the president's office said he wastaken to the main Military Hospital in Belgrade on Sunday"because of an acute infection of respiratory organs." "A medical team said that therapy for President Tadicrequires hospitalization so that all necessary medicaltesting can be carried out," the statement said, addingthat the leader's condition was not critical. The 46-year-old president "can perform some of his dailyduties," the statement said, but he would remain inhospital "until full recovery."
