New Delhi, Aug , SPA -- India and Pakistan agreed Saturday to continue talks on a disputed water body along their border. A joint statement released at the end of two days of talks between senior defense officials said an early resolution would be in the interest of both. They had a "detailed and useful" exchange of views on the various issues involved in resolving the dispute over Sir Creek, a marshy water body that lies between the Indian state of Gujarat and Pakistan's Sindh state. Sir Creek is one of eight subjects that the two countries have agreed to discuss as part of a composite dialogue. --SPA 1435 Local Time 1135 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/189666
