Islamabad, Sept 13, SPA -- Pakistan wants to acceleratethe peace process with India and find a solution totheir long-standing dispute over Kashmir, the ForeignMinistry spokesman said Monday. The comments by spokesman Masood Khan came ahead of ameeting later this month between Pakistani President Gen.Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singhon the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly in New York. "Our eyes are fixed on this meeting. This is a veryimportant meeting but let's not speculate about theoutcome," Khan told a news conference, when asked ifPakistan was hoping for a breakthrough on the Kashmirissue. "Let's hope for the best." "We should quicken the pace," Khan said. "There are nodeadlines but the timeframe has to be there."
