Islamabad, Aug 9, SPA - The two-day Pakistan-India talks onterrorism and drug trafficking begin in Islamabad Tuesday as part of thecomposite dialogue process between the two South Asian neighbours, officialssaid.Indian Home Secretary Dhirendra Singh will lead the Indian side while Interior Secretary Tariq Mehmood Pakistan's delegation at the talks.Officials said Mehmood would impress upon his Indian counterpart to defineterrorism.Pakistan and India are in direct conflict over the issue for the last twodecades as Pakistan views freedom struggle of the people of Kashmir legitimate while India holds the opposite view.Official said the Indian home secretary would also call on Interior MinisterMakhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat.Meanwhile, the two-day secretary level talks between Pakistan and India onbilateral trade begin in Islamabad on August 11.Indian Commerce Secretary Deepak Chatterjee will lead the Indian delegation.Pakistan's side will be led by Commerce Secretary Tasneem Noorani.Officials said the two sides will discuss the promotion of bilateral trade, free trade, free import and export of agricultural products, industrial growth, sea trade, Pakistan-Iran-India gas pipeline and an end to tariff and non-tariffbarriers.--SPA_1406 Local Time 1106 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/190215
