U.S., China Discuss Cyber-Security

Washington, Ramadan 1, 1434, Jul 9, 2013, SPA - U.S. and Chinese officials on Monday discussed cyber-security as the two countries start four days of talks to build cooperation and address other issues of mutual concern. The United States and China announced in April the formation of a group on cyber-issues. It met for the first time Monday at the State Department. Both civilian and military officials participated. The U.S. delegation is led by Christopher Painter, the State Department coordinator for cyber-issues. The Chinese side is led by Dai Bing, a senior Foreign Ministry official.
