Turkish FM Saddened By US Embassy Explosion In Ankara

Belgrade, Rabi'I 21, 1434, Feb 2, 2013, SPA - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has described as "saddening," the bombing attack on the US Embassy in Ankara that killed one person and injured a number of people. Davutoglu, who is currently visiting Belgrade, conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims in a statement he made here last night. He stressed that the Turkish authorities had been always doing their utmost to protect diplomatic missions they host. The Turkish Foreign Minister added that he held talks with U.S. officials to discuss the latest developments, according to a report of Qatar News Agency (QNA).
