Washington, Rajab 19, 1434, May 29, 2013, SPA - U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden said Monday in Colombia that he was pleased that economic and trade issues have overtaken security concerns in the bilateral relationship. The U.S. vice president praised President Juan Manuel Santos for helping lead Latin America toward a “middle-class, democratic, and secure” future. Biden flew to the Caribbean country of Trinidad and Tobago later Monday, and is scheduled to meet with Caribbean officials Tuesday for talks on regional security, energy, and economic integration.
