Nablus, Safar 19, 1434, Jan 1, 2013, SPA - Jewish settlers attacked early Tuesday the West Bank village of Qusra, southeast of Nablus, damaged homes and uprooted around 200 olive trees, said witnesses. They said the settlers crept into the village after midnight and attacked a residence belonging to Abdul Majeed Hasan, who, along with village residents, confronted the settlers and were able to push them back but not before causing damage to the house. The residents said the settlers uprooted dozens of olive trees and cut many others, according to a report of Palestine News and Information Agency "WAFA." The settlers, then, repeated their attack on the village Tuesday morning, but this time under Israeli army protection, and attacked the Palestinian village residents who tried to defend themselves and their village.
