HANOI, Vietnam, Sha'ban 17, 1433, Jul 7, 2012, SPA - Cuban President Ra?l Castro arrived in Hanoi on Saturday for a four-day visit aimed at boosting ties between the two countries. The stop follows a trip to China where Castro met with leaders and signed a series of economic agreements. Castro last visited Vietnam in 2005 as defense minister, a title he held from 1959 until replacing his older brother, Fidel, as president in 2008.
