Washington, Rajab 23, 1433, Jun 13, 2012, SPA - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton welcomed Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh to the State Department Tuesday to discuss a wide range of issues. “Jordan is a great partner and real leader on regional issues with whom we consult closely on a very comprehensive agenda,” Hillary Clinton told reporters prior to her meeting with Judeh. “I’m looking forward to having the chance to discuss with the minister the full range of issues that are in the headlines and are ones that we are working closely together on.” Judeh said it is a pleasure to consult with Hillary Clinton at the State Department and that he was looking forward to their discussion. “We should be discussing not only those issues in the headlines, but issues making headlines as well in the future,” Judeh said. “And I think that bilateral discussions would be foremost Syria and of course, the ever present question of the Middle East peace process and the lack of movement there, even though we had some positive developments in the last few months.” --SPA 11:03 LOCAL TIME 08:03 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1007126
