Afghan and Indian Foreign Ministers Hold Meeting In New Delhi

NEW DELHI, Jumada II 10, 1433, May 1, 2012, SPA - Afghanistan's Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul is in New Delhi to meet senior government ministers, months after his country signed a strategic pact with India. On Tuesday, Zalmai Rassoul met his Indian counterpart S.M. Krishna and the two men are leading the first session of an India-Afghanistan council set up under the agreement, according to a report of the Associated Press. The strategic pact signed last October was Afghanistan's first with any country and outlines areas of common concern including trade, economic expansion, education, security and politics.
