Tel Aviv, Rabi'I 8, 1433, Jan 31, 2012, SPA - Polls opened at 10 am (0800 GMT) Tuesday for members of Israel's ruling Likud Party to elect a new leader and a new party central committee. Likud's current leader, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was expected to win easily against his only challenger, extreme right-wing settler Moshe Feiglin, according to a report of DPA. Some 125,000 Likud members are eligible to vote, in more than 150 countrywide polling stations.
