Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates, Safar 3, 1433, Dec 28, 2011, SPA - The UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan hailed today the growing ties between the United Arab Emirates and China. He called for the development of relations to live up to the ambitions and aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of both countries based on friendship, mutual respect and common interests. Sheikh Abdullah expressed hope that the meetings between senior officials in Arab countries and China could open up wider-horizons for joint cooperation and activate the resolutions and recommendations issued by the China-Arab Cooperation Forum. Sheikh Abdullah made these remarks while attending the fourth edition of the symposium 'Dialogue between Arab and Chinese civilizations', which opened in Abu Dhabi this morning. He also called on both sides to make more efforts to enhance cooperation between them, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM". "I'm looking forward to seeing the meetings and deliberations make a constructive step forward towards more joint action and positive communication", Sheikh Abdullah said.
