The statement said that the Foreign ministers agreed to prepare for the joint action program for the next phase 2013-2016. It noted that the Ministers exchanged views on the situations in the region, especially the peace process in the Middle East, Syria, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen, as well as views on international issues of common concern, including piracy, counter-terrorism, enhancement of human rights.
