Vienna, December 21, 2022, SPA -- Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and on his behalf, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli attended the ceremony of handing over Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water to the winners at its tenth session at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, the Republic of Austria. The Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture delivered a speech during the ceremony in which he reviewed some of the activities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's government, which are being implemented under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince towards preserving and rehabilitating the environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, providing drinking water, and encouraging creativity and scientific research in this field. For his part, President of the UN General Assembly Csaba Korosi, who is also the guest of honor, delivered a speech virtually in which he praised the award and the noble goals it seeks to achieve in stimulating human creativity to participate in solving issues of water scarcity and preserving it.
