Global Media Congress Kicks off in UAE with International Participation

Abu Dhabi, November 15, 2022, SPA -- The three-day Global Media Congress kicked off today in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi, with the organization of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), under the patronage of UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the participation of several media entrepreneurs, global influencers and media institutions. The congress includes a conference and exhibition specialized in the media industry sector. The congress, held under the theme: “Shaping the future of the media industry,” sees the participation of more than 1,200 international media entrepreneurs, specialists and influencers representing six continents of the world, and includes more than 30 discussion panels and several workshops that will see the participation of more than 162 speakers. The exhibition attracts more than 170 media organizations and companies worldwide representing 29 countries, reviewing the latest international technologies in the media sector. The congress includes 6 major initiatives: the live presentation platform, the global youth media empowerment program, the future media laboratory, the innovation platform, the global buyers program and a special session on the role of media in promoting a culture of tolerance in human societies.
