Geneva, December 16,2019, SPA -- The 1st Global Refugee Forum kicked off here today in Geneva, Switzerland which continues until 18 December, aiming to change the way the world responds to the refugee problem, and to devise new approaches and long-term commitments from effective parties to help refugees and their host communities, where there are more than 70 million refugees by wars, conflicts and persecution. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in the forum with a delegation headed by Advisor to the Royal Court, Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah. The forum brings together heads of states and governments, international leaders, development organizations and business leaders.
