Saudi Arabia Hosts the Second Meeting of the Association of Arab Attorneys-General

Riyadh, November 15, 2022, SPA – Saudi Arabia, represented by the Public Prosecution, will host the second annual meeting of the Association of Arab Attorneys-General, which will be held from 16-17 November 2022 in Jeddah, and will be attended by Arab Attorneys-General, with international participation from the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation "Eurojust", and the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP). The meeting of The Kingdom’s hosting of the meeting, which will be held under the title "Financial Fraud Cases and Cyber ​​Security and Their Relationship to Transnational Organized Crimes,” emanates from the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen and develop relations with the Arab states, and to build bridges of communication, to counter the dangers of transnational organized crime and its impacts on the economies of individuals and society. The meeting also aims at stressing the need for judicial integration to achieve prompt criminal justice, and highlighting the best practices that have been monitored to confront the development and methods of committing crimes, and how to overcome the difficulties that may face in strengthening international judicial cooperation.
