Riyadh, October 30, 2022, SPA -- The Saudi digital sector is principally envisioning holistic and forward-looking regulatory frameworks and global standards to primarily reinforce the culture of evolving risk management emphasizing the sustainability and reliability of telecommunications and information technology sector resources, products, and services. As many as 20 international speakers and experts will launch the "Envision Risks " conference next Tuesday, dedicated to envisioning risks and foreseeing opportunities in the ICT sector. Eng. Ahmed Al Sha’ba, General Manager of the Risk Management and Business Continuity Center, ensured the provision of solid, reliable, and highly credible content that will be initiated by the sessions presented at the “Envision Risks Conference”first-of-its-kind ICT risk management conference in the region. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is extending a regenerative opportunity to continue its efforts in linking risk management, business continuity, and crises management to the latest international standards that can be adopted, to bring risk-aware strategies and opportunities to all three verticals which were reflected in the guidelines developed by the Ministry and released to the business community, with the objective of reinforcing and strengthening the maturity of risk management, business continuity and crises management in the communications and information technology sector, where it received a positive interaction from the whole sector parties. Al Sha’ba indicated that the participation of internationally renowned expert speakers in this conference “represents an important opportunity to continue achieving an impact in the ICT sector, as we work through the conference to enhance the benefit of the accumulated experiences that will be conveyed by the expertise of the international professionals participating in the conference who represent knowledge transfer specialized in the areas of risk management, business continuity, and crisis management," noting that the expected discussion at the conference " is consistent with our efforts in the ministry to achieve more growth and increase the reliability of the sector's resources, products, and services, which will reflect affirmatively on the digital economy to attract more investments in the communications and information technology sector."
