Jeddah, October 10, 2022, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held today a seminar on “Connecting Further at the Post-Covid-19 Contemporary World: Enhancing Dialogue between the Islamic World and other Great Civilizations”. The seminar is held under resolution No. 1/48-C of the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM). It aims at exploring views from the Islamic world on how they perceive the global pandemic from a civilizational perspective and how they expect international cooperation should take place in such cases. The seminar also aims to benefit from the experience of major countries and civilizations in managing and confronting global pandemics, especially their preparations for any similar future danger, as well as strengthening cooperation between the OIC and major countries in addressing such global dangers. --SPA 14:28 LOCAL TIME 11:28 GMT 0010 www.spa.gov.sa/w1796108
