New York, Oct 27, 2022, SPA -- Members of the United Nations Security Council expressed their strong condemnation of Houthi terrorist attacks by drones, which were taken place on 21th of October 2022 against Al-Dabba oil port, where an oil tanker was docked. In a press statement today, the members considered these attacks a serious threat to the peace process, stability of Yemen and maritime security, including navigational rights and freedoms stipulated in international law. The UN Security Council also stressed that any escalation would only exacerbate the suffering of the Yemeni people, calling on Houthis to immediately cease such attacks, respect their obligations under international humanitarian law, prioritize the Yemeni people, and engage constructively in efforts to renew a truce.
