Riyadh, Oct. 02, 2022, SPA -- The ministry of finance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is set to host today the 117th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee under the chairmanship of Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan and attendance of GCC ministers of finance and GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf. The meeting is scheduled to review a host of issues related to enhancing financial and economic cooperation among the GCC countries in addition of discussing the impact of the world economic crises on the GCC economies. Following their meeting, the GCC financial ministers and governors of centeral banks are scheduled to hold a joint meeting with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva to discuss a number of inclusive issues of the rgion, topped by the harms the world economy has incurred from coronavirus pandemic، energy and food market turmoil and continuing supply bottlenecks in addition to cooperation between IMF and GCC countries. --SPA 03:52 LOCAL TIME 00:52 GMT 0003 www.spa.gov.sa/w1792826
