Brussels, June 03, 2022, SPA - The European Union today welcomed the UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg announcement extending by two more months the current truce in Yemen. In a press release from his office in Brussels, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that since April 2, the truce has experienced tangible benefits to the Yemeni people, adding that the EU encourages the continuation of work to re-open roads, particularly around the city of Taiz.
