Niamey, April 13, 2022, SPA – King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Monday inaugurated a project to distribute Ramadan food assistance in Niger, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Niger Dr. Zeid Al-Harbi and several officials in the Niger government, as part of the Ramadan Feeding Initiative for 1443 Hijri. The project seeks to distribute 9,000 Ramadan food baskets in Niamey, Tillabéri, and Dosso, which will benefit 45,000 individuals. The Ramadan Feeding Initiative seeks to distribute 156,993 food baskets weighing 8,430 tons in 19 countries to benefit 901,463 individuals, as part of the relief and humanitarian efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, during the holy month of Ramadan to several needy and afflicted countries. --SPA 16:59 LOCAL TIME 13:59 GMT 0025 www.spa.gov.sa/w1720803
