Cairo, March 20, 2022, SPA -- Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia targeting economic and civilian facilities in several regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, using ballistic missiles and drones. In a statement issued today, Aboul Gheit said: "The continuation of the terrorist Houthi militia in carrying out these hostile acts against vital targets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reflects once again the Houthi rejection of peace efforts. This attack is a flagrant violation of the UN Security Council's resolutions," expressing his deep concern about the consequences of the continuation of these Houthi hostilities without a quick and decisive action by the international community to put an end to this destructive escalation. The Arab League's Secretary General reiterated the Arab League's support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all the measures it takes to confront these terrorist acts and preserve its stability and security. --SPA 18:42 LOCAL TIME 15:42 GMT 0032 www.spa.gov.sa/w1709906
