Madinah, April 14, 2022, SPA – The Agency of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet's Holy Mosque and public institutions seek to accommodate the biggest number of worshippers to perform prayer at the Prophet's Holy Mosque and its parks, in addition to preparing means and providing services to enable them perform prayers easily and securely. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has monitored scenes of the spiritual atmospheres across the Prophet's Holy Mosque and its parks during last night's Taraweeh prayer, where the efforts of employees of working institutions focused on the smooth movement of worshippers' entry through 100 gates to the mosque according to the absorptive capacity to perform prayer inside the mosque and its roof, and sending worshippers to the new western park upon the completion of the absorptive capacity, where around 200,000 worshippers were present at the external parks of the Prophet's Holy Mosque during the Taraweeh (Night) prayer. The place is prepared for them through operating water-spray fans to cool the weather, providing watering services through 1,209 drinking fountains available at parks, and offering all necessary services that can enable them to perform prayers with ease and tranquility. A total of 3,200 official, temporary and seasonal employees from the agency work to coordinate efforts to enable worshippers to perform prayers at the designated areas that are provided with carpets inside the mosque and at the parks, with maintaining main wide corridors with prayer restrictions to ensure the sustainability of crowds' movements, allocating praying areas for people with disabilities near the gates of the mosque to facilitate their entry and exit, following up on programs of turning on the lights, umbrellas, domes and air conditioning, the services of guidance, and following up on all works of crowd administration so as worshippers can enjoy comfort and tranquility. --SPA 17:25 LOCAL TIME 14:25 GMT 0027 www.spa.gov.sa/w1721268
