Washington, May 26, 2022, SPA -- On the sidelines of his current official visit to the United States of America, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hussein Ibrahim Taha met yesterday with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the Organization and the United States of America, and ways to enhance and develop them. They also discussed the results of the first round of the strategic dialogue between the Organization and the United States, which was held on May 23-24 in Washington. The two sides agreed on the importance of consolidating relations in various fields, in light of the challenges facing the world, foremost of which are the situations in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
