Jeddah, March 23, 2022, SPA -- Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha met with the State Councilor and Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Mr Wang Yi. The meeting took place alongside the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in the capital of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Islamabad, on 22 March 2022. During this meeting, the two sides valued the long-standing and deep-rooted historical relations between China and the Muslim world. They reviewed the full range of relations between the OIC and China and its future prospects, and discussed ways to promote bilateral dialogue and cooperation in political, economic, cultural, education, health and intercivilizational dialogue issues.
