Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia's Public Budget has Signs of More Prosperous Economic Future

Riyadh, Dec. 14, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad, Al-Riyadh, Al-Eqtisadiah, Okaz and Al-Yaum newspapers reported in their editorials that the announcement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's public budget for the fiscal year 2022 came with many signs of optimism and hope for a brighter and more prosperous economic future. The unprecedented numbers in the revenues and surplus volume of Saudi Arabia's public budget for the new fiscal year have confirmed the strong indicators of its economic performance, the papers said. Such unprecedented ambitious numbers reflect the Saudi Arabia leadership’s keenness to achieve sustainability and growth, in addition to moving forward in achieving the goals its vision 2030, through raising economic growth rates and diversifying the non-oil revenues, the papers further said. The wise leadership has emphasized paying attention to the security and health of citizens and residents, human development, continued growth and economic diversification, financial sustainability, implementing initiatives and economic reforms, which included in the goals of its vision 2030, the papers added. In the same context, the leadership has also emphasized the continuous improvement in the quality of life, optimal use of available resources, upgrading the efficiency and quality of government spending to enhance the growth and development rates, in addition to developing the educational environment and supporting housing plans, the papers further added.
