Khartoum, March 03, 2022, SPA -- Sudan welcomed the UN Security Council's decision to classify the Houthi militia as a terrorist group, as well as the expansion of the embargoing arms deliveries to Yemen. In a statement today, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks launched by the terrorist Houthi militia against civilians and civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. It expressed its hope that this decision would contribute to stopping the hostilities and the widespread violations committed by the Houthi militia, and its threat to the security and safety of navigation in the Red Sea, as well as facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid for civilians.
