Riyadh, Oct. 25, 2021, SPA -- Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), lauded the Middle East Green Initiative and the Saudi Green Initiative which aim to contribute to efforts of combating climate change via raising vegetation cover, reducing carbon emissions, combating pollution and land degradation as well as preserving wildlife in Middle Eastern countries. This came during the opening ceremony of the Middle East Green Initiative Summit, inaugurated here today by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister.
