Riyadh, November 18, 2021, SPA -- The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve today held a virtual workshop with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) at the reserve’s headquarters in Riyadh, aimed to achieve the objectives by supporting and enabling existing efforts in conservation and restoring ecological balance, and supporting the implementation of the management and restoration of wild nature in its reservations through the union’s Green List of Protected Areas, and activate partnerships with leading international organizations in the environmental protection. The workshop discussed several topics, including the time plan for cooperation as well as the Reserve’s main tasks and mission with the participants, which are aimed at preserving the environment, developing green cover, rehabilitating natural habitats, and restoring ecological balance.
